What You'll Get to Do:


  • Provide project management support for ethics and compliance programs related to training, education and awareness, communication, compliance risk assessments and remediation, policy management, third party review, PEAK Guides, ethics liaisons, and surveys.
  • Maintain and implement enhancements to the Ethics and Compliance Program operational processes and controls.
  • Maintain Ethics and Compliance employee resources including internally facing websites, TEAM pages, OneDrive folders and content, and resource links. Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management.
  • Prepare periodic compliance and ethics program reports, KPIs, and related program measurements.
  • Assist with database administration of the company’s hotline Ethics and Compliance Program reporting tools.
  • Coordinate global policy and procedure projects, updates, and publication with functional stakeholders at the direction of ethics and compliance management.
  • Support the operation of any compliance related programs and committees.
  • Create and maintain or submit necessary program forms, reports, and internal report requests etc., at the direction of ethics and compliance management.
  • Daily review of the ethics and compliance program inboxes, including the program training inboxes. Assist with development and deployment of annual plans for Ethics and Compliance Program communications to employees and Program training.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor effectiveness measurements for training and communications. Program communication plans, content and training should be developed with a focus on creating and maintaining a culture where ethics and compliance is a natural part of every action taken at the company and one where asking questions and raising your hand to identify concerns is both encouraged and celebrated.
  • Develop and manage ethics and compliance communication materials and training, including content repository, identification of target audience, communications about initiatives and scheduling plans, and completion tracking, as applicable.
  • Produce multimedia content decks, images as needed to support communication rollouts, Board, and Ethics and compliance Committee presentations.
  • Coordinate live training designed to encourage and promote a culture of ethics and compliance.
  • Communicate the importance of ethics and compliance to management, including promoting an understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures.
  • Work with company employees and representatives to ensure that they have the requisite information and knowledge of compliance requirements to carry out their responsibilities in a lawful and ethical manner.
  • Collaborate with compliance professionals located in other parts of the world to ensure our region provides all necessary information and reports to Panasonics headquarters in Japan and implements compliance programs in accordance with global standards.
  • Liaise with business units and subsidiaries to identify gaps and non-compliance and partner with process owners to ensure that they are corrected.
  • Respond to employee questions about the companies compliance policies and corporate values.
  • Ensure improper conduct is reported and discouraged.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

Scope:
  • Reports to the Assistant General Counsel – Office of Ethics & Compliance PNA working directly for the PNA Group Compliance & Ethics Manager
  • Individual contributor, no budgetary or staff supervision responsibilities.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Journalism, or Legal discipline
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance or compliance-related fields desired
  • Project management skills, training and/or experience
  • Proficient with MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for graphic design preferred

  • Strong project, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and develop process efficiencies where required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to identify potential trends, issues, and process enhancements.
  • Able to work independently and know when to appropriately escalate an issue for resolution.
  • Must be able to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
  • Must possess the ability to quickly and accurately acquire a working knowledge of Panasonic entities’ businesses, strategies and processes.
Communications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to create and maintain effective business relationships in a multinational and multi-cultural atmosphere.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of storytelling, employee communications, communication related methodologies, tools and vehicles including social media.

 Other Requirements

  • Occasional domestic travel (10%)
