Job Summary

Manages all daily recurring commercial subjects under the supervision of the Account Manager to provide on-time and on-quality responses to customers.


Provides reports to the account manager, other management and customer teams relating to current issues/activities of the individual airline and the commercial state of the respective account.


Develops and maintains excellent working relationship with customers and internal company departments to ensure effective response to customer needs.


Supports regional customer service efforts in order to provide superior customer service and ensure long term business success. 

Major Responsibilities                                                                                                            % oF time

  • Manages commercial subjects and processes of assigned customer accounts and assists with other customers as directed, in particular
  • Manages change request commercials and content from receipt to response to the customers
  • Ensures accurate and consistent program, spares, application, media and other pricing throughout the Lufthansa Group airlines
  • Steers day-to-day commercial requests to conclusion
  • Supports Account Manager in new pursuit activities by obtaining required data and information from functional teams to form a proposal
  • Reviews commercial contractual requirements of assigned customers and ensures fulfillment from the company.
  • Maintains commercial account health dashboard per airline in the Group reflecting all product pillars
  • Manage customer survey activities and satisfaction scorecards.  Track customer satisfaction ratings to objectively measure degree of satisfaction.
  • Drive support issues together with relevant teams to conclusion















Knowledge/Skill Requirements

  • Excellent commercial knowledge and understanding
  • Highly motivated to drive topics to conclusion, also against resistance
  • Knowledge of Aviation or related industry preferred, but not a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to speak with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
  • Proven experience with problem-solving and decision-making to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationship with customers and internal company departments in order to smoothly and effectively address customer needs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or commensurate work experience.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time to assigned region.
