What You’ll Get to Do:
Assist with defining requirements and architecture necessary to meet performance, capacity, scalability, availability, and security objectives.
Investigate and advise on third-party integrations, and develop requirements and architecture associated with external interfaces, protocols, interoperability, compatibility, and coexistence with other applications.
Provide technical leadership to the organization and development team for the successful implementation and test of products.
Act as a technical consultant to Product Management, Support, Services, and Testing organizations, as well as to other development teams.
Contribute significantly to product roadmaps, estimation, planning, identification of risks and issues, and development status.
Define cloud computing policy, cloud solution architecture and cloud governance process
Develops cloud architecture to align with Enterprise technology strategy and reference architecture
Works with contracting and offshore companies to ensure architecture guideline adherence
Researches, evaluates and pilots new cloud services, capabilities, industry trends and emerging technologies.
Designs and develops frameworks within architecture for developers to use
Manages a team of senior software engineers to guide on software architecture and design
Provides governance and consulting on architecture to all software development teams
Education & Experience:
BS Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
5+ year experience in developing cloud based SaaS solutions
5+ year experience in leading product design using microservices architecture
Experience in migrating monolith on-premise applications to cloud by refactoring to take advantage of cloud infrastructure
Experience in defining cloud architecture for Azure (preferably) or other cloud computing platforms (Amazon, Google)
Mastery in current architecture principles and design models for enterprise applications
Experience in documenting software architecture and building frameworks for development teams
Ability to talk and present intelligently to C-level executives on software architecture and design
Ability to build architecture guidelines and teams to provide technical capabilities for all products
Experience developing microservices architecture and standard SDKs / APIs for platform approach
Relevant certification are nice to have.
