What You'll Get to Do:
     

 

Channel Account Manager exist to manage the relationships of our top partners, resellers and to promote Panasonic offerings to become a key part of the partner's business and solutions. CAMs are tasked with goals of growing partner business by working and developing channel accounts as well driving activities to uncover net new opportunities.  CAMs must also identify and qualify new potential partners. CAMs will work closely with TAMS in areas focused to drive partner growth and development.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

Responsible for territory-wide management, enablement and sales growth of Panasonic partners and resellers. Work with partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities to produce additional revenue streams and deliver YOY growth targets.  - 20 Percent

 

 

Coordinate Channel enablement activities including events and go-to-market activities, provide sales and technical training and product information, train on partner portals and program procedures.  Co-develop and drive the creation and execution of quarterly and annual marketing plans to drive territory business to top Panasonic partners utilizing Marketing Development Funds. Review and determine ROI of such marketing plans. - 30 Percent

 

Meets and Exceeds annual assigned quotas. Including partner growth, sales and product category. - 20 Percent

 

Manage and qualify new potential Partners. Review business plans and new partner applications. - 10 Percent

 

Effectively manage all administrative duties and reporting in timely manner. Including CRM,  monthly capturing and reporting of partner sales, quarterly business review functions and various Headquarter required reporting. - 20 Percent

What You'll Bring:     

Basic Qualifications

 

Scope

Proven track record of managing a reseller channel and driving tangible revenue from those accounts

Experience selling and training resellers on hardware, software or services

Experience in managing large territories or equivalent is required

Experience in working with Distribution partners

 

Education and Experience

Experience 3-5 plus years of channel management based experience selling information technology products through end-users and channel partners, computer mobility hardware, service and solutions highly desired

Proven success managing significant and growing reseller relationships

Degree Preferred or job related experience

 

Problem Solving

Understanding of pipeline management discipline and ability to explain benefits to partners and sales teams

Experience with C Level management meetings and sales mapping

Understanding of relationship building, coordination and cooperation needed to achieve solid relationships within various vertical sales teams and management.

 

Communications

Advanced oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and leadership

Must have ability to develop positive executive and sales relationships, and solve customer problems

Must have the ability to motivate partners sales force and coordinate and direct efforts across sales teams

Must have the ability and willingness to lead and participate in process improvement initiatives included in partner reseller, pricing and purchasing programs

 

Other Requirements

Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Travel up to 50 Percent of time, some weekend work, hours of work may vary due to travel

What We Offer:     The salary range of $65,000 –$95,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
