What you will get to do:

As a Business Analyst, you’ll will have the opportunity to work on Integrator Outreach, Cinema/Production Dealer Outreach, Education/Training Integrators/Cinema Dealers/End-Users, and also lead and be responsible for  identifying support requirements for the Business Development team.

Integrator Outreach:

  • Work with our Distributor partners to identify qualified integrators to resell Panasonic Consumer Imaging Products
  • evaluate potential Integrates to determine if they would work well as reseller and get them setup to order
  • Provide technical support to the integrator
  • Provide samples and demos of products that are requested by account
  • Contribute content to our monthly newsletter

Cinema/Production Dealer Outreach:

  • Identify potential resellers that specialize in servicing the needs of the cinematic and production community
  • Determine the best method for Panasonic to sell these dealers goods (Direct or via distributor) and get them setup to order
  • Provide technical support to the dealer
  • Provide samples and demos of products that are requested by account

Rental House Placement:

  • Our goal is to get end users access to our imaging products during the evaluation process, rental Houses are critical to achieving this goal
  • Identify the top rental houses in the USA that get the most rental traffic
  • work with the rental house to determine interest and pricing structure required to get placement
  • Work with product management to set pricing per house and get the rental house to place order
  • For rental houses that are not interested, work with Cinematographers and Production houses to generate desire to use our products in their productions, turn these leads over to rental house so they have shovel ready projects needing our cameras
Education/Training Integrators/Cinema Dealers/End-Users
  •  Work with Integrators and Cinema Dealers to educate on the training opportunities
  • Host every other month web-based Q&A events with our integrators to get them better informed about Panasonic Imaging products
  • Host web-based and in-face product training events a year for our integrators. Curriculum will be developed by you based on topics agreed upon by management
  • Monthly follow-up with all identified Cinema Dealers for Q&A
  • Creation of How-To video series for our dealers and integrators

Lead Generation and follow-up:

  • Develop a lead tracking system to easily track all outstanding issues with potential leads
  • Working with PNA and PCEC to develop and maintain our internal leads and add to the lead tracking system
  • Outreach to qualified leads to gauge interest and determine stage of buying decision
  • If lead needs to evaluate a sample, arrange the delivery of sample and ensure its return
  • If lead needs software/hardware updates to purchase, worth with Management to determine the feasibility of the request
  • If lead is ready to buy/rent, determine the best partner to hand them off to

Tradeshow/event support:

  • Work with Dealers/Integrators to determine what events they offer and if they are valuable for Panasonic to support
  • Assisted in the development and design
  • Work with management to determine if/who will be needed for labor and talent in the booth
  • Work with partner companies to secure samples to support our products
  • Setup and teardown of the booth
  • Labor for the booth. Work as a technical support and sales representative

Administrative tasks:

  • Weekly report that outlines the previous weeks activities, accomplishments and tasks for follow-up
  • Identify management information needs, manage development of non-standard reports and statements when requested
  • Collaborate with business team in the USA and Japan to inform of features needed to grow our business. Track progress on these additions
  • Timely submission of all administrative tasks (expenses, reports, continuing education, HR accountabilities etc.)


  • Accountable against business measurements vs BP, LY and KPI goals
  • Lead & be responsible for Business Development team to identify support requirements


What You’ll Bring:


This position will report directly to Manager of Business Development
Burbank area ideal for this role

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associates degree/certification in the fields of Cinematography, Film, Production or televisions sciences is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Cinema/Production/Television industry preferred (required without a degree or certification)
  • Must be an accomplished public speaker and comfortable speaking to large crowds and in front of a camera
  • MS office skills, Excel and PowerPoint are required
  • Familiarity with Apple Keynote preferred
  • Advanced experience with at least 1 NLE and familiarity with all of the following: Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, AVID, Adobe After Effects and Apple Motion
  • Photo editing experience with Photoshop, Lightroom or equivalent preferred
  • Receptiveness to feedback and a desire to improve, learn and grow

  • Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed
