The position:
The Maintenance Services Representative's (MSR /LAME) main duties are to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations to Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) In- flight Entertainment Systems on aircraft subjected to CASA Regulations to include: troubleshooting and testing of electronic assemblies and units, the removal and replacement of electronic assemblies, units or cabling while installed in the aircraft and the modification/alteration of installed equipment.
Aircraft/IFE Maintenance and Support
- Perform routine line maintenance transit checks per customer requirements
- Perform troubleshooting and rectification of all the systems of the aircraft and certify in accordance with the approved data
- Using basic computer and electronic theories and test equipment
- Remove and replace components and equipment in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures
- Assist troubleshooting system failures and functional testing post rectification
- Complete all administrative duties associated with maintenance actions performed
- Review logbook(s) as applicable and correct as required
- Assist co-workers in all activities of aircraft maintenance as directed
- Assist/perform with Software and Media Loading
- Consistently exhibit professionalism in order to enhance our customer's perception of the company
- Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role you must possess an Unrestricted Licence Cat B1 with either B737-800/MAX, B777, B787, or A350 Type Ratings with any of the below mentioned NAA's:
- CASA
- EASA
- FAA
- GCAA
- CAANZ
- Full working rights in Australia (overseas sponsorship will be considered)
- A least 5 years of line maintenance certification experience on an aircraft
- Strong ability to professionally and clearly communicate with customers (engineers, flight crew and colleagues)
- Ability to use basic troubleshooting equipment and applicable techniques
- Ability to prioritize work demands, ensuring all work assigned is carried out effectively
- Ability to work in a team environment and alone
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook. Linux is a plus!
- A valid driver's license and passport
- Ability to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, which will include late nights, early mornings, public holidays and weekends
