This position is eligible for a hybrid-remote work schedule.

Supporting the AP Manager and AP Project lead with the support of the 3rd party platform, invoice research and resolution, supplier process and analysis, monthly metrics, supplier statement review and support of AP Projects. You will train and assist others with the daily Accounts Payable (AP) areas of responsibility as needed (i.e. invoice processing). You will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Process large volumes of both 3rd Party and Intercompany (Cashless) invoices into our ERP systems / 3rd party platform. This includes coding, keying, matching to purchase orders and communicating/following up with the Hussmann locations on issues and resolution
  • Process all expenses, utilities, and manual requests for assigned locations and enter into the applicable accounting system promptly ensuring the expenses have been handled within Hussmann policy. The process includes paying time-sensitive payments with a procurement card and assigning the correct GL coding through the Concur system by month-end cutoffs
  • Prepare and process of the Accounts Payable payment runs for the assigned locations, ensuring that all required backup is obtained and approvals received
  • Help with month-end close activities as assigned, including processing all invoices by the month-end cutoff, review of supplier debit balances, review of outstanding checks, and recording any necessary accruals
  • Oversee supplier statement reconciliations and analysis as assigned, including follow up on old outstanding invoices
  • Assist others with daily AP processing as needed
  • Document procedures related to your responsibilities

Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting with 0-2 years experience
    • AP Experience a plus
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel a Must)
    • Strong ability to organize, multi-task and communicate information in a timely fashion.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, detail oriented and highly motivated.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and strong individual contributor.
    • Exposure to Oracle, Infor XA, Baan, Power BI a plus.
