  • Oversee the cashless (Intercompany) process including the Canada netting process.   Process to include reviewing the weekly balancing and sending out issues list to locations of items that are over 30 days old for potential write offs.  In addition, responsible for processing cashless for the US equipment business and backing up others on processing cashless as needed to cover absences/ vacations and month end.
  • Process invoices, credit card payments and check runs for the US equipment business as needed.
  • Responsible for the AP dashboard in the Power BI tool.  This includes, validation of data, working with IT to update data and metrics to be captured for the AP department.
  • Assigned month end tasks to include completing month end reporting, journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Review vendors added to the ERP system, making sure they are properly classified for 1099 reporting.  In addition, responsible for assisting with the AP 1099 process, including the research of vendors to make sure they are to receive 1099’s and the generation of the reports necessary to provide XEROX the information needed to generate the 1099’s.  In addition, responsible for following up on any 1099 notices received from the government.
  • Document procedures related to your areas of responsibility.
  • Assisting with department projects and supporting others in the accounts payable department as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 0-2+ years’ experience (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, data analysis)
  • Strong ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks and communicate information in a timely fashion and with the appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Strong attention to customer needs and while maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentially in dealing with sensitive material.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, mathematical skills, detail oriented and highly motivated.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and strong individual contributor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Intermediate to Advanced in Excel)
  • Exposure to Hyperion, Oracle, Infor XA, Power BI a plus.
