The position will be responsible for the coordination, oversight and support of sales of products in the Hussmann Supermarket Equipment portfolio to current, expanded and new customers to promote the company and its line of products, technologies and services. This sales position will require the ability to relentlessly focus on the customer requirements, present solutions to customers, be fully engaged with the team, and think like an owner. Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Possess the ability to manage a district plan, organize a sales strategy, and have good presentation skills. Must be a self-starter, have great problem-solving skills, and complete your job with a high sense of integrity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Secure and drive customer orders that achieve corporate sales and OI objectives by providing solutions to customers that address their respective business needs.
Develop and maintain an effective relationships with key customer contacts and territory refrigeration contractors that lead to profitable sales.
Develop and execute sales plans that support division objectives for sales, OI, market-share and competitive account penetration.
Prepare and actively monitor monthly activity report, maintain current customer/account information regarding product/service issues, customer visits, personal contact information to include consistent updating of CRM information.
Work in conjunction with other internal business partners to achieve short term and long term customer solutions.
Maintain and expand on the knowledge base for Hussmann service offerings, industry/competitor trends and customer requirements/conditions.
Continuing self-development in the areas of interpersonal communications, negotiations, account management, cross-selling, refrigeration concepts and solutions selling.
Min Required number of overall years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or closely related degree required or 10 + years of customer interfacing related experience including at least 5 + years of progressive direct sales experience selling to retail or closely related industry.
- 5 + years of progressive direct sales experience selling to retail or closely related industry is required
- 50% + travel
