The position:
Functioning as generalist, develop, administer and implement Human Resources policies and programs, partnering with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives. Resolves a range of Human Resource-related issues of moderate to high complexity. Perform as lead to junior level HR Reps and deals with escalated issues for resolution. Responsible for and/or serves as the HR focal point for all or some of the following functions:

  • Primary Responsibilities

    • involve in full spectrum of HR function (payroll, recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent management, HR policies and etc.)
    • Manage day to day HR related inquiries and providing guidance to employees, questions ranging from inquiries over benefits, leave policy to HRIS system
    • Handle employee's insurance and work closely with insurance broker for the yearly renewal exercise.
    • Supports C&B initiatives and frameworks including Performance Management System, Job Grading, Salary Structure and other Incentive Programs.
    • Responsible for end to end recruitment, onboarding process (including briefing on benefit programs, company policies, procedures and guidelines, insurance program enrollment, orientation presentation, employee P-file set-up)
    • Handle work pass administration: application, renewal and cancellation.
    • Provide input for business surveys mandated by the local statutory boards
    • Participate in both internal and external HR & Payroll audits
    • Be the go-to person for all employee related issues throughout the employee life cycle such as performance management and grievance handling
    • Employee Engagement & Relations Communication - maintain a healthy, safe and fun work environment, build and engage with managers & employees, resolve workplace issues
    • Counsel employees and manage grievances and disciplinary actions in an expeditious manner
    • Good working knowledge of Industrial Relations Regulations and ability to support and liaise with Unions
    • Support in L&D/T&D programme
    • Ensure HR practices are in line with the statutory requirements and market practices
    • Perform all HR related ad-hoc duties from time to time or as per assigned.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 5 -7 years' of recent Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or 3 additional years' directly related experience in an HR environment. (8 years' total)
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore labor law, experience and understanding of trade unions and employee relations processes will be an added advantage.
  • Payroll experience / insight is a must.
  • Possess and apply knowledge and understanding of principles, practices, and procedures of the Human Resources field.
  • PHR or SPHR Certification is preferred.
