Leandra Olivia, a Skilled Machine Technician at Panasonic Energy, shows her dedication by relocating from Nevada and supporting the launch of the new factory in Kansas. When asked about her “why,” Olivia simply said, “Panasonic’s Seven Principles.” For Olivia, these principles – Contribution to Society, Fairness and Honesty, Cooperation and Team Spirit, Untiring Effort for Improvement, Courtesy and Humility, Adaptability and Gratitude – are her guiding light at Panasonic Energy. “We are doing something that is not just beneficial to the people we produce our products for, but to the world in the way we are producing them,” she explains. By using recycled materials and reducing reliance on rare metals, Panasonic’s battery production supports a cleaner, more sustainable future helping to power the global shift to renewable energy while minimizing environmental impact. Olivia’s love for Panasonic goes beyond technical expertise. "Seeing a coworker make the switch to Panasonic and watching them thrive in every aspect of their life inspires me,” she says.
Edward Ho, Global Mobility Specialist, joined Panasonic Energy in 2023, seeking a fresh start. “What drew me in was how painless the interview process was. It was clear that Panasonic values people, was efficient and understood the needs of humans in general. It only got better once I joined.”
Ho’s reason for loving his work at Panasonic Energy is straightforward: “I get paid to do what I love!”
